I'm assuming that's when evolution kicks in. That 1% must be religion, art, literature, moral decision-making, self-waterbeds, spiritual curiosity, maybe philosophical musings? Maybe evolution is the reason we have the capacity for maths, language, invention, magic? That would mean the initial brain design has changed? Wait, do these differences make up the human soul?

Some of that would be soul, some wouldn’t be

Is it bad that i don’t want my dad to be successful? He’s just upgraded to a larger warehouse.

He’s 52 and obese, his business could be shutdown because his taxes are messed up, he’s starting to move slower, sleep more and make more mistakes. He’s not a good business man, the amount of manual labour work we put in isn’t worth the money he makes.

Instead of investing in property he spent money in Pakistan on random shit.

This all means more work for me and him complaining that i’m incompetent and useless. More time thats just going to be wasted.

I wish I wrote the way I thought
Obsessively
Incessantly
With maddening hunger
I’d write to the point of suffocation
I’d write myself into nervous breakdowns
Manuscripts spiralling out like tentacles into abysmal nothing
And I’d write about you
a lot more
than I should

Tomorrow, you promise yourself, will be different, yet, tomorrow is too often a repetition of today. And you disappoint yourself again and again
